just found out that accidentally in love by counting crows was literally made for shrek. they didnt just choose it. it didnt exist before. they asked counting crows to make a song for shrek 2 and thats how we got one of the best songs ever made. insane.
counting crows knew shrek 2 would become one of the best movies ever made and had to act accordingly
nobody talks about how exhausting it is to live in that space between "things will get better" and "i can't handle this anymore." it's like your emotions are constantly swinging. leaving you both hopeful and defeated in the same day.

Sometimes when I go hundreds pages deep into peopleās Tumblr archives, I find really funny posts and I weigh the pros and cons of liking/reblogging them.
Pros: Iāll have access to them later because theyāre fucking hilarious
Cons: They might think Iām creepy. Despite the fact that itās public and on the Internet, it is not socially acceptable to let anyone know the extent that you creeped their archives.
I hereby extend blanket permission for anyone to creep on my archive, and to like and reblog posts from it if they want to. Itās really quite flattering.
āit is not socially acceptableā
Wrong. It is not only acceptable but expected here. Adhere to whatever āetiquetteā you will on other sites. Share and be shared here.
Yeah, this isnāt a Tumblr thing. Everyone here loves it when they wake up to 97 notifications and theyāre all likes and reblogs from the same person of shit you posted five years ago.
I love it when someone is obviously going through a specific tag of mine.
User that exhibits the actively curious, reblog-spamming, tag-digging behavior is an endangered species that must be preserved at all costs. No seriously I view this kinda stuff as a big, massive, yuuuuuge compliment. Please donāt let this culture die.
Yes, please, come on in here and dig in the depths!
Also, I really enjoy when someone reblogs a banger Iād forgotten long ago.
when whitman saidĀ āi contradict myself. i am large⦠i contain multitudesā and wilde saidĀ āwhat are you? to define is to limitā and sumney saidĀ āi insist upon my right to be multipleā
and ashbery said āaccept yourself as numerousā
and when mahmoud darwish said āI am besieged by contradictionā and when lewis carroll said āI knew who I was this morning, but Iāve changed a few times since thenā
well my phone screen is busted so I can't log into uhhhhh anything ever again. death to 2FA.
"confirm it's you via text" I cant.
"paste the code we sent you via whatsapp" I can't.
"scan this QR code" I can't.
"type in the number shown on your device" I can't.
"have us call you instead" I can't.
"to connect to your own pc on your own home network via physical usb cable, tap Confirm on your phone" WHY DO YOU THINK I'M HERE
I tried to order a usb-c to hdmi connector via a site that turned out to be an amazon storefront, and amazon instantly locked me out and said if I can't verify my account via text I have to send them my passport
got so pissed once about this happening i discovered google has 'backup codes' hidden in ur privacy settings that you can generate and physically hold on to in order to authenticate yourself without any other bullshit. they really try to hide it away but it has saved my ass on several occasions when i wanted to use find my phone and it asked for a code. from my phone. to log in.
