Indulge in a delightful halloumi burger with a spicy-sweet chili drizzle, fresh veggies, and a hint of basil. This burger is a mouthwatering vegetarian option that's perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients: 2 halloumi cheese slices. 2 burger buns. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce. 1 tablespoon honey. 1/2 cup arugula leaves. 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced. 1 tomato, sliced. 1/4 cucumber, thinly sliced. 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Set your grill or griddle on the stove to medium-high heat to get it ready. To make the sticky chili drizzle, mix the mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, and honey in a small bowl. Put away. To keep food from sticking, lightly oil the grill or griddle. Put the halloumi slices on the grill and cook them for two to three minutes on each side, or until the outside gets grill marks and a little crispy. Get the burger buns ready by cutting them in half and toasting them on the grill until they are just barely browned. Add salt and pepper to the halloumi after taking it off the grill. Spread a lot of the sticky chili drizzle on the bottom half of each toasted bun before putting the burgers together. Spread some arugula leaves out on the platter and then add a slice of grilled halloumi. Slice the tomato, cucumber, red onion, and add fresh basil leaves. Add the other half of the toasted bun on top to finish the burger. Your Craftberry Bush Halloumi Burger with Sticky Chili Drizzle is ready to eat right away.
