Margaret, put down the glue-gun
I’m an idiot. I got a new spool of the wire for the viking knit project. I had gone through over 3/4 of the first spool, so I decided to cut the 1 yard lengths I needed from the old spool. I have enough to make 30+ pieces of viking knit cut. Now I have no way to store them unless I stick them back on the spool. They don’t all fit through the lock holes on the spool which are 1mm wide. I’m an idiot. I’ll spend the next 3 hours fishing the ends back under previous wraps on the spool and hoping I can get done so I can actually weave. Next time I get a brilliant idea, someone stab me in the temple.
I painted a hoodie and was planning on wearing it to a pride event tomorrow (I guess technically today) and when I took it out of the washing machine all the pink and blue paint came off and was sticking to random spots on the hoodie
Here what it looked like before I washed it

(which ostensibly can be sanded and stained just like wood) I am annoyed, but not surprised. why is does this matter? welp, now I have to recut the 1st screen. it’s annoying, but if I can’t hide my missteps with wood glue, necessary
crafting fail.
