So there. The tag punch board has finally been “unboxed” and used. I understand that it’s probably easier to simply use a die-cutting tool if you want things faster, and if you’re going to produce a lot of these tags. Agree! At the same time, if your objective is to simply make a few of these (say 10 pieces) and you enjoy the process of cutting paper and punching holes and corners, this tool will be useful. It’s light and small, as well. I’m pretty happy with the results. I’ve been (mildly) obsessed with making and using gift labels that look like price tags ever since I saw the idea in craft magazines I’ve been reading. Prior to this purchase, I’d go through several processes, which include cut paper down to size, use corner cutters, punch hole in one corner, and attach to gift/ token. While I can’t avoid that step on cutting paper down to size, I want to believe this will lessen the tools I’ll use in making gift tags! I haven’t unboxed this one yet, but should do so soon. Gift-giving is just around the corner and as usual, I’m late in getting things done. Priorities, friends, priorities.
