New OC for Project Vigilantes!

The Husk is the top dog of a small district in Duskdawn City. Using his rotting touch, he threatens and extorts the people of his community for "protection money". He loves that the city is corrupt enough for him to get away with this, so when the Vigilantes start trying to clean up the street, he'll do anything to keep up his twisted version of "The Good Life".

Another page test! Sorry I was gone for a bit there, I was super sick.

This time I wonder if I can actually make a webcomic? I've been reading alot of dragonball (which is where I got the paneling and action lines from) so maybe I should try a small comic project. Maybe 5 pages? Let me know if that's a good idea.

I've been reading up on dragonball ahead of the anime coming back in fall, and wanted to try drawing a manga page because of how nicely Toriyama lets everything flow in his work.

When I saw this post by space-cattle of their boxer garnet design, I got inspired and decided to make the idea the basis of the page. Please go check out their original art, it's gorgeous.

The character in view on the last panel is my gem oc Turquoise btw, I put her there as a perspective test.

OK I know that literally LAST post I was talking about the sweet side to Scrap and Violet's relationship (if you can call it that) but they ARE still enemies

Violet hates Scrap and lets him know it constantly, whenever he's doing some dorky scheme or trying to get her attention. She's quick to deflate the tension he's trying to build, and do everything she can to mess up his game.

Scrap accepts it all with a (somewhat strained) smile on his face. So what if she's shouting curse words over his evil speech? She's his nemesis, she's supposed to do that! No performer is perfect, though, refuse to play along and Scrap's act gets more shaky, and he's more likely to do something drastic to keep your attention.

While Violet (going under the vigilante name Raindrop) and Scrap are bitter(?) enemies today, they used to work together! Violet used Scrap's weapons to bring her own kind of justice to the streets.

Honestly, not much of their dynamic has changed. In spite of his evil schemes usually including her getting hurt, Scrap seems to still have a fondness for Raindrop. On Violet's end, she's been pretty done with Scrap's shit since they first met.
