In the book "Babygirl: Better Known As Aaliyah" (starting on page 62, if you would like to read about her experience being blackballed in the industry) it talks about how Craig signed Aaliyah to the label (Atlantic Records) when she was 16. He said that Aaliyah was the "Complete Package".

Despite Aaliyah being blackballed from the music industry, Craig knew exactly what to do and had a plan to simply remarket AALIYAH and get her back out there, and it WORKED!

In 1996 she would go on to release "One In A Million" which would change the GAME, and Aaliyah herself would go on to be the most sought after and highest paid female artist in our era.

Please help wish this music hero a Happy Blessed Birthday! Thank you for giving Aaliyah a chance when everyone else was closing their doors.

In light of the tragedy that has happened to Ermias Asghedom aka Nipsey Hussle, followed by the blatant disrespect of his memory & family, I am also asking that every radio station that has Kodak Black on their playlist, refuse to support his music effective immediately.
