Staig Headcanon:

When Stan and Craig first started dating, nobody believed they would last long. Craig is a monotonous dick to people and Stan is emotional, angry at the world and drowning in addiction and depression.

No one expected that, when they got together, they played to each other's strengths. Stan showed Craig it's okay to let it out and show your emotions, while Craig showed Stan it's okay to keep to yourself and not care about things too much.

I think that when they are away from the pressures of their peers, they’d be very tranquil with one another.

They both seek peace, popularity, and happiness. While these goals have set them at odds with one another while competing in different friend groups, when they are able to set aside those lines in the sand, they would be a duo who could truly see eye to eye.

They both share a love for their pets and animals in general which would make them both amazing pet parents. I can easily imagine Stripe riding Sparky on a walk. They are also both very tactile people and so they would happily engage in appropriate levels of PDA just to feel the others hand or kiss the others cheek.

Stan struggles to feel comfortable with intimacy because of his nerves and he has developed a vomit compulsion due to this. Luckily we have seen that Craig is a patient boyfriend who isn’t scared away from a relationship so easily. The two can move at a pace that they are the both most comfortable with. This would help Stan to work through his intimacy issues as well.

Their competitive streaks would also enable them to be excellent boyfriends to one another if it was sparked. Competing on who could make the better dinner for one another, competing over who gave the best anniversary gift, competing over who is the better kisser. Simple and sweet competition where they ultimately both win even when one loses.

Some miscellaneous activities they would probably engage in:

talking shit about the other in that obnoxious “I’m secretly bragging about my boyfriend but I’m framing it as a complaint” sort of way

going to bed cuddled against one another... and also smothered by the half dozen pets that they have adopted over the years

trying on makeup together for a fad but liking it a lot and continuing to do so

stealing each others clothes

“We’re wearing the same shirt. You have to change.” “Fuck you, you change.”

every kiss they share says something quiet about their mood. a kiss on the cheek is a thank you, a kiss on the nose is a tease, a kiss on the hand is a taunt. they have their own secret language based entirely on where they choose to leave a kiss.

they have an ongoing dispute over oreos and no one knows the story behind it but it is intense
