These cranberry shortbread bars are the perfect blend of sweet and tart. The buttery shortbread crust pairs perfectly with the cranberry sauce and crunchy walnut topping. Make them in your air fryer for a quick and easy treat!
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/4 cup powdered sugar. 1/2 cup cranberry sauce. 1/4 cup white sugar. 1/4 cup chopped walnuts. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: For 5 minutes, heat your air fryer up to 320F 160C. Put the softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl and mix them together. Mix until it's smooth. Mix the flour and salt into the other ingredients until a dough forms. Put two-thirds of the shortbread dough into the bottom of a 6x6-inch air fryer baking pan that has been greased. Put the cranberry sauce on top of the shortbread crust in a thin layer. Put the white sugar and chopped walnuts in a different bowl. Put this mix on top of the cranberry sauce layer. Spread the last third of the shortbread dough out evenly on top. The air fryer should already be hot when you put the baking pan in it. Cook at 320F 160C for 20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. From the air fryer, take it out and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, cut it into bars. Enjoy your cranberry shortbread bars after you're done making them!
