Newt is a Biter. Full stop. Pre or post Crank, doesn't matter. He chomp. Thomas regularly looks like he's been mauled by something, and when asked he just says, "My boyfriend :)" Newt confesses he once had a fantasy about eating Thomas’s heart or living inside his skin, and Thomas says, "I'd let you. :)"
Thomas is very Violent about protecting Newt. Anyone who hurts him or even threatens to is signing a death warrant. He has stabbed someone for pushing Newt too hard in a crowded marketplace. Everyone can tell when he goes "mad dog mode" bc he gets this deeply unnerving dead-eyed expression which means he's just hit his WCKD switch and turned off his empathy/morality. Newt finds this deeply endearing, even if he doesn't like Tommy getting hurt in these little dust-ups.

yes yes i am with you on it, also, Thomas being ready to fight/maim/kill someone for Newt is canon. he sent WCKD secrets to the Right Arm the second he (allegedly) witnessed Newt’s suicide in the film. he said “fuck WCKD i will burn this place to the ground” in the books after Newt’s failed suicide. Thomas was protective of Newt despite his amnesia
Newt and cannibalistic themes go hand in hand and he will be eating all of Thomas or just fantasize about it. Newt is highly possessive (trust) and he will mark what’s his (Thomas)
