why would he do that ? i think silence worries Newt more than panic. he’s genuinely a little bit concerned too, that possibly Seon could one day crack maybe like he did.

✦ there are practical check-ins, especially coming from Newt. It stays subtle, never too obvious, too friendly. It stays neutral such as “you eaten?”, “you hurt?”, but never “how are you feeling?”
