I’ve been busy with a million and one things lately, and one of them has been practicing and performing with Crapapella! We’ve done almost ten songs this semester, and I’ve had a solo in all of our performances, which is super fun! (Solos in Crapapella tend to be short, so that our audiences are exposed to the widest variety of craptacular singing possible)
This past weekend was Winter Weekend, when all the houses at Smith put on parties and events for their residents. A lot of a capella groups go around and sign at the various houses, and Crapapella was hired to perform at Talbot, King, and Emerson houses. None of the videos are up yet, but here’s a photo of the group of us before our last performance of the night (I’m the one in the elephant hat):
Although we don’t have videos from Winter Weekend up yet, if you want to watch some of out earlier performances from Arch Sing (all the a capella groups get together to perform for the first time in the semester under the arch by Neilson Library) and Celebrations (an event where clubs, houses, a capella groups, and even sports teams create skits and performances celebrating all different forms of love), you can head over to our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/SmithCrapapella/?fref=ts
