Have you ever looked at a crape myrtle blossom more closely? I have to admit that I didn’t until recently when I photographed this white one in our garden. I never saw the delicate frothiness of the hundreds of tiny crinkled, crepe-like textured blooms that form a big panicle. Honestly, I also never consciously recognized the yellow stamens. Isn’t each panicle a work of art? I am going through a difficult personal situation that requires a lot of time and attention, so Instagram has to be on the back burner even though I enjoy it so much.
