Believe it or not, I’ve only ever been to three concerts in my life so far. I saw the Used in Baltimore a couple years ago, I saw Trans Siberian Orchestra about two-ish years ago and I just saw Frank and the Future Violents just past summer. I’m hoping to go to more and hopeful I’ll see a My Chem show this year.

terribly but it’s a comical experience. in the case of the fab 4 jet and ghoul get really stuck in, trying to solve all the puzzles thoroughly (which slows them down), party “listen, there’s not a lock i haven’t gotten open by bashing it with something heavy” poison is there for nuisance purposes, and kobra immediately gives up, gets out a harmonica and begins playing jailhouse blues, only to solve everything within the last five minutes and get out scot free.
kids born in the desert. how old are they before they pick their name? do they go through a couple? and does the girl pick a new name after the comics? (i think so - she can't just be The Girl forever. or maybe she can. maybe that name gains heft in the mouths of the people who tell her story. would she accept that legacy, or try and make a new one?)
i think it’s super common for kids to trial out tons of names, and for em to be a collaborative effort within a group. like everyone pitches ideas. some desertborns may have a part of their name given by each of their parents and can change it when they see fit. also i feel like the girl may shed the need for a name, there’s no more need to hide and she can start a new leaf, since being reunited w her mother she might ask for one and they can come up with something cool together.
