Progress? Not sure if this is great as a permanent set-up, but hey, it's all modular so that's minor. I kind of wanted all my books in the same room though. I ended up modifying the KonMari system to have a "Keep" pile, a "Toss" pile, and an "Ehhhhnnn" pile. The Ehhhhnnn pile is stuff that doesn't really spark as much joy as you'd hope, or to which you feel an emotional/obligational connection, or just want go through one last time and therefore aren't ready to let go of juuust yet. I'll sort through over the next couple of days. Most of it will probably go. I like having shelf space. A lot of stuff went straight to the Toss pile though. Quite a bit more than I anticipated. A lot of books that I used to treasure, but really just... don't anymore. Maybe it's a sign of growth? Maybe it's depression? Either way, it's going to be a month or so before I can make it to the city to sell them so ehh, I guess we'll find out. The middle shelves are left open for plants, once I get around to the lights.
