Garden and nursery, end of November 2020.
Great mullein (Verbascum thapsus). August 2020.
Giant sunflowers. July 2020.
Fence with porcelain vine, passionflower, and jasmine (which is mostly hidden behind an echium). October 2020.
Echium pininana, Verbascum thapsus, Crinum × powellii Crinum moorei. June 2020.
Sunflower with the largest flower - and largest leaves. July 2020.
Definitely not a giant sunflower. June 2020.
Thunbergia alata. It was meant to climb over the crates, and that might have worked if I’d attached some hooks. It did manage to climb behind the crates and reach the top that way. This species is not frost hardy, so it’s in a pot sunk into the ground which can be lifted and moved into the greenhouse if very cold weather is forecast. October 2020.
