A delicate looking climber Ampelopsis brevipedunculata 'Elegans' (porcelain berry) has leaves heavily-mottled with white and pink. The small green flowers may appear in summer, followed by pinkish-purple berries that later turn blue. This plant thrives in moist but well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade, the foliage may be affected by frost.
