neon  lights  and  dim  fluorescents  are  not  serena’s  typical  aesthetics ;     but  she  replaces  the  sunlit  blue  sky  with  bright  stars ,     𝒎𝒐𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 ,     and  brick  buildings  that  are  bleeding  with  history.

The way his tone becomes so serious is what catches her off guard, brows furrowing before she finally, slowly takes a seat upon the aged sofa, cradling her bleeding palm close to her chest. A decent cut into the skin that had the blood beginning to pool in her palm, trying her best not to let it stain her attire or get anywhere on their belongings.

"What??" A frown. He didn't understand fully where this was coming from. He had just finished telling one of his many stories, one of the old days when he was only a kid. Nothing of what he remembered sharing with the other vampire had made him think he had a bad childhood. Sure, there was the daily and exhausting training that he had to endure ever since he turned seven, how the words of his dad at times made him feel a bit shitty and small. The lack of affection and attention, the times he was left alone to cry, or the times he was not allowed to cry, because he was already a man when he was not even ten. Always being forced and encouraged to act older than he was. 

"I didn't, ok? I had a perfect childhood. All very normal stuff." From his point of view, that was the way it had been. His experience surely was similar or same to the one of any other kid, right?

The party was lively and he hadn’t anticipated on attending, but here he was. Originally, it was just to drop something off as a favor to Guillermo, mostly to ease the overworked burden that was placed upon him, but he got tangled up in the mingling and conversation. 

Laszlo took him aside from the crowd and before Morgan could utter a word, he found himself pinned against a wall and the words that followed suit made him bit his lower lip, his blue eyes staring at Laszlo. The nerve this man had. 

But he’d be lying if he said he didn’t like his bold forward nature.  The party was left downstairs as the pair slipped away unnoticed.

ooc;; nandor knows of his flaws, he's not ignorant to them (but it's easier to ignore them than to do something about them, or to find that person that accepts him as messy as he can be), but when he actually finds that someone and he clicks with them, he will try his hardest to better himself for this person. it's not a change that will happen from day to night, it's definitively going to be an extremely lengthy process, and he would fail more times than he would succeed, but he will try either until the other person just gives up on him or things start looking a bit better. not perfect, not ideal, just a bit better.
