They always knew when her brother was coming. Everyone knew, but it didn't stop Y/N and Serim from making out in the kitchen. Her brother, Hyunsuk, wasn't happy about his sister's dating because he saw her as a little kid and Serim as a fboy, but he wasn't. He was the most careful and beloved boyfriend she had ever had.
"Maybe we should stop now, he'll be home soon," Y/N pulled away from his lips, unintentionally, but she was frightened. Her sad eyes looked at his chest because she felt guilty.
"Princess, look at me, please," Serim grabbed her by her to look up at him. He stroked her hair carefully, smiling at her lightly.
"I'm not that type of boy he thinks I am, and you know it. Maybe I should have a talk with him like a man with men and tell him that I am super serious about dating you," Serim's voice calmed her, and she nodded. They both heard keys in the door, which made Y/N jump away from him.
"Y/N, I'm home!" Hyunsuk called from the hallway. When he came to the kitchen to meet his sister, he froze on the spot, frowning at Serim.
"What is he doing here?!" he pointed at him, getting angry.
"You should talk about your biased towards Serim," Y/N spoke up, shaking nervously. Serim saw her and intertwined their hands.
"I don't think so. So if you don't mind, leave us alone," Hyunsuk scoffed at Serim, but he didn't move an inch from her.
"I'm not going anywhere until we both talk," Serim said, making eye contact with her brother.
"Fine, Y/N, leave us alone," Hyunsuk sat down at the table, glaring at Serim. Y/N gave her boyfriend a nervous smile, leaving them alone. She sat on the bed, biting her nails, terrified that Hyunsuk could beat him or worse. After a half-hour, she heard knocking on the door.
"Come in!" she called and looked at the door, expecting Serim to come. But it wasn't Serim. It was Hyunsuk.
"Uhm... I should apologize to you, Y/N. I was wrong about your boyfie, ya know... you're my little sister, and I don't want anyone to hurt you. He proved to me that he is probably the right one for you, and I warned him that if he ever broke your heart, I would find him and hurt him more than he would hurt you. So yeah, that's it from me. Should I let him he-" he didn't finish his monologue because of Y/N, who jumped around his neck and hugged him tightly.
"Thank you, thank you!" she cried out with joy and ran from her room, looking for Serim, who was still sitting at the table with a big smile on his face.
Plot: You never expected to bump into a werewolf the day you escaped your psycho boyfriend but here you were, staying with a herd of werewolves after one of them saved you.
Run. That was the only word you could keep repeating in your head as you ran through the forest. A few minutes ago, you found yourself locked inside a car with your jealous boyfriend trying to get rid of his embrace. He started off softly but as you moved more to get rid of him, he tightened his embrace more and more to the point that it started to hurt. Even though you told him he was hurting you, he never seemed to stop his actions. Your friends told you plenty of times he always seemed to be a bit psycho when it came to your relationship but you never admitted until today. After getting out of the car and rolling down an embankment, you kept running into the density of a dark forest. Only your footsteps and your boyfriend’s footsteps as he chased you could be heard in the silence of the forest, only the moonlight illuminating your path.
Your eyes were teary and your heart was drumming like crazy inside your ribcage. You could feel the fear and adrenaline running through your veins praying that he wouldn’t reach you. Only God knew what could have happened if he got you. You were all alone in a forest and if he got out that psycho side he had and did something to you, you wouldn’t be able to get any kind of help. That was the detail that had you more scared about the whole situation.
Suddenly you spotted a wolf in your way which made you stop running. Your brain was working at a blinding speed trying to find another way of escaping your boyfriend. The wolf made eye contact with you and started to approach you the moment he noticed the fear in your eyes. Instead of taking it as a helping sign, you thought he was trying to attack you so you unconsciously started to back off until your back hit your boyfriend’s chest. The moment you turned around and faced him you could see the dirtiest and most terrifying smirk on his face. “You will never be able to escape me sweetheart.” He said, pushing you and making you fall into the floor. The moment he did so and started to walk towards you with a challenging figure, the wolf walked in front of you blocking your boyfriend’s way. You don’t know why he did that but you had to admit you owed him your life. Little did you know he wasn’t a normal wolf.
The wolf started to look intimidating and started to get closer to your boyfriend scaring the shit out of him. With a simple howl the wolf completed his mission of scaring the boy and making him run away from you. You were still sitting on the floor not really understanding what was going on. You got even more confused the moment you saw him turning into a human figure. The wolf that just saved you was now a handsome young boy. He seemed to be of your same age, had perfect black hair and his white skin gleamed under the dim moonlight making you dizzy because of his beauty.
He turned around to face you and extended his hand waiting for you to take it and help you stand up. The moment his hand was in front of you, you flinched and backed off even more, scared of him. “Don’t be afraid. I’m not going to hurt you.” He said with a soft voice. His voice was hypnotizing and as sweet as honey. “My name is Serim. I just want to help you.” He said walking a bit closer to you trying his best to calm you down. His soothing voice and warm smile somehow made you feel more relaxed and you finally gave in and took his hand. His hand was soft and it felt like you were touching a soft sweater of cotton. “What are you?” You asked confused, still holding his hand. “We are werewolves, and he shouldn’t be talking with a human like you.” You heard from behind you. A blond haired boy appeared behind you walking towards the black haired boy. “What are you doing here?” Serim asked him, letting go of your hand. “What do you think? You were getting too long to come back and now I know what was the reason for your delay.” The blond haired boy said looking at you. “Who is she?” He asked in a cold tone. “She was running away from a man that tried to kill her, I was just helping her.” Serim answered looking at you as well and giving you a soft reassuring smile. “Okay, she’s safe now. Let’s go home. Have a good night lady.” The blond haired boy said walking back to where you supposed they lived. “Allen wait.” Serim said, making the blond haired boy stop. “Do you want to come with us? It is late and it is dangerous for you to go on your own.” Serim suggested turning back to you. You were speechless. Staying in the house of an unknown boy in the middle of the forest after the little experience you just had with your boyfriend wasn’t a good idea for you. Before you could deny his offer even though you wanted to stay so you could feel safe, Allen spoke up. “Have you gone crazy? Serim she’s a human.” Allen said walking back towards Serim. “And? Allen if she goes back home now all alone that boy will come to her and kill her.” Serim answered making you feel even more scared. Even if you didn’t want to admit it, he was right. Your boyfriend knew where you lived and had your front door keys and he could enter whenever he wanted. Little by little, listening to their argument, you started to hope that Allen gave in and that you could stay with them. After all, that boy named Serim saved you from your boyfriend so there wasn’t an apparent problem with staying by his side for the night.
“Why do you even care about her?” Allen said. Serim remained silent. He didn’t know what to say. He didn’t even know why he wanted to protect you. He didn’t know you and you didn’t know him but for some reason he had the urge of protecting you. But that was something he couldn’t say out loud, not only because of Allen’s reaction but because you were hearing all the conversation. Even though Serim remained silent, Allen could perfectly read his mind and finally accepted you to stay with them for the night. Thanking them for letting you stay was the last thing you said before arriving at their little house.
The way until their house was silent. Allen leading the way and you could feel Serim’s stare on you from time to time which made you blush. You didn’t even know why that detail made you blush. Maybe it was because of his charming features. Maybe it was because he made you a Believer.
Once you arrived at their little house you couldn’t resist smiling at it. It was a cute small wood house in the middle of the forest. It seemed to be out of a fairytale. Allen opened the door wide open so you could enter and as soon as you went into the living room, you spotted 7 other boys chatting inside the house. At first, you thought it would be only Serim, Allen and you so when you saw the 7 other boys you were surprised. “We’re more than you expected, sorry.” Serim said giggling nervously and rubbing the back of his neck. You could feel everyone’s eyes on you as you walked towards the couch with Serim’s hand on your waist leading you to where everyone was. “Guys, welcome our new guest.” He said looking at the rest of the boys. “Who is she? She’s not a wolf.” A brown haired boy said. “She’s a human.” Allen said rolling his eyes and lying on the couch with the rest of his friends. “You brought a human?” A black haired boy asked. “Guys please, don’t act like this okay? She’s good.” Serim defended you. Why were they so offended about your human presence? “Don’t mind their comments, they’re just not used to being around humans.” Serim apologized trying to excuse his friends. “They are Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung and Seongmin.” Serim said pointing at them as he said their names so you could learn them. You noticed the brown haired boy that talked before was Woobin and the black haired boy that talked as well was Minhee. You tried your best to memorize their names and faces so you wouldn’t call them wrongly. “Guys, this is…” Serim was about to introduce you when he noticed he didn’t know your name yet. “Tsk, he doesn’t even know her name. This is ridiculous.” Allen said under his breath. “I’m (Y/N).” You shyly said. You knew they didn’t accept you and that made you feel extremely uncomfortable. “That’s a beautiful name.” Serim said smiling at you making all his friends roll their eyes.
The atmosphere became heavier and more tense the moment the room was filled with silence. All eyes on you, analyzing all your features and you not really knowing what to do or say. “You should change your clothes into something more comfortable, wait, let me get some of my clothes.” Serim said breaking the silence and leaving you alone with the rest of the boys. “For how long will you stay?” Seongmin asked. “She’ll leave tomorrow morning.” Allen answered for you. All you could do was avoid everyone’s gaze while waiting for Serim. “Here, you can change in the bathroom over there.” Serim said, handing you a pair of sweatpants and a sweater and pointed in the bathroom’s direction. You muttered a silent ‘thank you’ and headed to the bathroom feeling everyone’s eyes glued on you as you walked out of the living room.
“What’s wrong with all of you?!” Serim said as soon as he heard you closing the bathroom door. “We should be the ones asking that.” Jungmo said. They couldn’t believe their eldest friend had brought a human to their house. “I thought we didn’t accept humans in this household.” Wonjin added. “Guys she’s a good human, she won’t hurt us.” Serim said defending you. “How can you be so sure she’s not a hunter? You didn’t even know her name when you arrived.” Hyeongjun said, crossing his arms. “Because she’s not a believer.” Serim said, making everyone calm down a bit. He was right. You never believed in fantasy characters such as werewolves and you only started to believe when you saw them change into human and wolf form right in front of your eyes, breaking all your mental schemes about how life worked. A whole new world opened in front of your eyes the moment you accepted to stay for the night with them. “I want to make her a Believer.” Serim stated. “Guys it’s the first time I feel this feeling. It must mean something.” Serim said begging to his friends to accept you. “What if she’s the only one being able to make us believe humans are not that bad?” Taeyoung said. Taeyoung has always been such an amazing Believer and that made Serim extremely happy. Having one of them convinced about the goodness you harbored in your heart was the only thing he needed to convince the rest of his friends. “Why are you all worrying so much about this though? Tomorrow morning she will leave and we will never see her again.” Allen said standing up from the couch. “I was planning to ask her to stay.” Serim said, making Allen stop. “It is too dangerous for her to go alone. Please, just trust me and let her stay for some days.” Serim begged. “Are you falling in love?” Jungmo asked. Serim was speechless. When a werewolf fell in love with someone all he wanted to do was protect that someone with everything they had and a strong aura surrounded them. That aura was crealy visible for Jungmo. “Maybe I am.” Serim answered. “I just want her to be safe.” He muttered.
After some more time discussing whether to let you stay more or not, they ended up giving in and decided to give you an opportunity to prove them not all humans were the same. You got out of the bathroom and went back to the living room where the atmosphere was a bit more chill than before. Serim told you to follow him to the little room where you could stay during the night. Once you arrived he opened the door for you. “This is my room, you can stay here, I’ll sleep in the living room.” He said. “I can sleep on the couch, you don’t have to.” You said a bit worried about him sleeping on a couch. “It’s okay, you’re the guest and you deserve to sleep in a comfortable bed.” He said sitting on the edge of his bed and patting the seat next to him waiting for you to sit.
“I’m sorry about the attitude towards you from the boys… They’re not used to treating humans.” He said once you sat next to him. “We had to go through a lot because of humans and they don’t trust them that well.” He explained. Now that you knew the reason why they acted so cold around you, everything started to make more sense. “Can I ask who that boy was and why he was chasing you like that?” He asked full of curiosity. You didn’t know at what point you became so comfortable around him to talk to him about your private life but there was something about him that made you feel safe. “He is my boyfriend… He has always been a jealous person and my friends always warned me about his dangerous actions when he got mad but I never wanted to admit it. I guess I was blinded because of love.” You said looking down. “You deserve something better. You know? I’m not familiar with the sight of me being with somebody like you but I’m starting to like it.” He said smiling at you. Suddenly, not really knowing why, your cheeks started to blush once again and a new feeling towards him appeared on you. You started to feel butterflies blooming on your stomach because of his sweet words. What was wrong with you? You just met him but, were you falling in love? “I should go now and let you rest, you might be tired.” He said standing up from his spot beside you. “Oh, and I’ve been talking with the boys and we all agree that maybe you should stay some days. It can be dangerous if you stay alone at your house. Take your time to think about the offer. Good night.” He said smiling down at you before closing the door and leaving you alone in the room. Maybe it wasn’t a bad idea staying with them.
In the other part of the house, Serim was laying on the couch with a soft blanket over his body, looking at the ceiling lost in his own world. He couldn’t help thinking over and over again what his superiors always told him about the humans.
Flashback
“Never get any kind of relationship with humans.” Shownu said. “Why not?” Serim asked confused, not really knowing why they shouldn’t get close to humans. “They take everything you love and destroy it.” Shownu said, his eyes getting teary at the memory of his past life. Serim was too scared to ask what happened back then to one of his alphas so he just nodded and remained silent. These 9 kids grew up knowing they should never get close to humans.

What will Shownu think if he saw I saved a human and I’m falling in love with her…? Some days you went hunting with Jungmo and Taeyoung, others you trained your physical status with Seongmin and Minhee, others you practiced your fighting skills with Wonjin and Hyeongjun, others you explored the forest with Woobin and Allen and during nights you patrolled the surroundings of the house with Serim, just like he did when you both first met.
You were having a “normal” life after living with them for two years. You have finally got used to eating their weird food and to climb up and down a little mountain that was near the forest. You finally could memorize all the nooks and crannies the forest had and you could finally beat Wonjin while you practiced your fighting skills. You were finally becoming a werewolf. Until that night when a lost bullet reached your lungs and you couldn’t defend yourself.
Just like every night you were walking around the forest hand in hand with Serim. His yellow eyes gleaming under the dim light of a full moon. “You know? I still can’t get over how beautiful you look under the moonlight.” Serim complimented you as you both walked around. “Stop! You’re making me blush!” You said covering your face with your free hand. “Hey don’t hide! Come on, let me see that beautiful face blushing.” He said grabbing your hand and smiling widely. “God… I’m so happy and lucky to have you.” He said cupping your red cheeks and placing a soft and cute peck on your lips. You both kept walking hand in hand for some time. Suddenly a shooting sound rumbled in the silence of the forest and the next thing Serim’s senses captured was your body falling to the ground with your chest covered in blood. “No! Please no!” Serim said falling to his knees and pressing the bleeding wound. He tried to find the responsible of the bullet that reached your lungs but it was impossible, they were nowhere to be found. “Hey don’t worry. Everything is going to be okay, you will recover.” He said with tears on his eyes. At this point your skin was turning into a pale tone and your mouth was covered with the blood coming from your lungs as you tried to breathe.
A light of hope lighted in Serim’s heart the moment he saw Allen and Jungmo arriving. “We heard the shooting sounds. What the hell happened?” Allen asked running towards you two. He was paralyzed the moment he saw your almost lifeless body resting on the floor and Serim’s hands covered in your blood. “We don’t have time for explanations, that bullet reached her lungs. Please tell me you can save her.” Serim begged sobbing. “Let’s see what I can do.” Allen said kneeling next to you to try and save you. “Serim…” You slowly muttered, reaching your hand out to caress his cheek. “I love you…” You said in a last breath before closing your eyes. “I love you too my love. I promise we will save you.” Serim said grabbing your hand and sobbing. “She closed her eyes, hyung…” Jungmo said from behind. “She’s still alive, her heart is still pumping inside her ribcage. We can still save her.” Allen said. And as he said, he saved you.
You woke up with the dim sunlight entering your room through the soft curtains. It was hard for you to breathe normally and you struggled to move. “Shh, it is okay, you’re okay now.” You heard Serim say. He was sitting next to the bed and grabbing your hand. He calmed you down explaining what happened last night. “Who was it?” You struggled to ask, feeling a terrible pain in your chest. “We don’t know… But I will find whoever it was. Now sleep, you need to rest. You lost too much blood.” He said placing a soft kiss on your lips. And as he said, you drifted off to sleep once again.
Days passed and you started to heal pretty well. “I’m surprised by how good your body is reacting. I guess you really became a werewolf in your soul.” Allen joked after checking your wound. “I learnt from the best.” You joked, winking at him. “How is she?” Serim asked Allen looking for a sincere answer of you being okay. “She’s okay, don’t worry.” Allen reassured him. “See? I told you I’m okay.” You said rolling your eyes making Allen laugh. “Then can she come with us again?” Taeyoung asked. “If she thinks she’s strong enough I don’t see the problem.” Allen answered looking at you. “Of course I’m going with you. I miss our hunting sessions.” You confessed smiling. “Yeap, she really became a werewolf.” Jungmo added making everyone laugh as he walked out of your room. “Allen.” You called him, making him stop at the room door. “Yes?” He said turning to face you. “Thanks for saving me. I owe you one.” You said smiling. “You don’t owe me anything… After all, you made us a Believer.”

Just like any other day you were heading to Starship Entertainment building so you could have lunch with your boyfriend. Dating an idol wasn’t easy so Serim and you stated that you would eat lunch together everyday at the studios so you could spend some time together and also so you could check that Serim was eating well and not skipping his meals.
Your earphones plugged in your ears as you walked, listening and humming to your favorite song, creating a bubble around you that separated you from reality. Serim has always admired how easy it was for you to fly to your own world and forget about reality, sometimes he wanted to do the same.
After some minutes walking you finally arrived at the building and as soon as you entered the building, one of the staff members greeted you. Once you greeted everyone you headed to the elevator so you could go to the floor your boyfriend’s studio was. As soon as you entered the room, you spotted Serim and the rest of the members sitting on the floor already waiting for you. The moment he landed his eyes on you, his smile grew bigger as you walked in his direction. Pecking a soft kiss on your lips wasn’t the first plan because he knew his members would tease him but he just couldn’t resist the urge of kissing you. “Is that my shirt?” He said, raising an eyebrow at you. “Pft, of course it isn’t.” You answered rolling your eyes hoping he would believe you. “Not even us believe that noona.” Taeyoung said, revealing your little secret. “Okay fine, it is your shirt…” You said looking down a bit shy. “You’re lucky you’re cute wearing my clothes.” He said placing another peck on your lips making everyone cringe at his clinginess. Even though you loved his clinginess, his members couldn’t help squirming at the image of you two being all lovey dovey which never failed to make you both laugh at his cute reactions.
