My life :I
hemoswitch- the first time scoff figures out bawds true bloodcolor
You had never really thought about it. She wears violet, after all, and while you may feel deep in your bones this hemospectrum is wrong it’s still poor form to wear anything other than your hemocaste.
Her blood comes as a surprise, salty cold on your hands and the floor and her body. You stare down at her, hand pressed over the wound. She’s stronger than this, you know, you know, but the rage quickens in your blood. That anyone would lay a hand on her, perfect and royal her, let alone hurt her stains your vision red and makes your bones ache for the riot of culling.
She murmurs something you can’t quite hear, paps your face sweet and gentle. Her hand is slicked with her own life, it leaves a smear of fuchsia down your cheek. You catch her hand with your free one, relieved to feel the slow pulse of her life slowing under the hand you’ve got pressed to her thigh.
She’s made of iron and deep ocean currents, your moirail, in more ways than you ever could have imagined.
It’s only later, when you’re splattered teal and blue that you kneel to her, press your horns to the floor and bare the back of your neck. She laughs and pulls you up by a gentle hand on your horns, kisses you on each cheek, holds you in her arms and soothes your confusion away.
Poke trainers Bawd and Scoff's first (probably disastrous) meeting
Your Gengar has this trick he does, where he flattens himself down and forms the silhouette of any bird type. Usually he’ll mimic a Fearow’s shadow, wide and fearsome, and he does so again today. You watch your opponent as he races forward, her Dragonite craning its head back to search the skies.
The shadow hurtling towards it loses cohesion and becomes a smear of darkness, your Gengar rising upward like a tide of pitch in a perfectly executed Shadow Punch. Her Dragonite reels, and you watch her utter delight spread across her face.
She pays you back not a minute later, when her Dragonite all but collapses and turns - pink?
The small blob at her feet flushes purple and adopts your Gengar’s surprised expression, wobbling and swaing side to side.
Oh, she’s good.
Writing prompt: Droog and Scoff stuck together in the zombie apocalypse
"This is your fault, somehow," you tell him as you pile more furniture against the door. He helps you with the table, at least, pushes the other chair against it. You both back away, eyeing the door like you both expect it to burst inward anyway.
"I’m sure," Droog says, utterly dry and as calm as ever. You kind of want to shake him a little, get a fucking reaction out of him. It’s not every day you have to hole up with your foe because the dead were crawling from their graves to feast on the living.
You’d almost suspect Horrorterrors at work, but this is nothing like Their particular brand of twisted fun. You’ve got nothing beyond what you’re carrying, you have no idea where Bawd is, where Scout and Deadeye are, what caused this or why.
Droog hands you a cigarette and you think yeah, let’s fucking do this.
POKEMON TRAINERS SCOUT/SCOFF
"I really hope you have a backup plan," Scout hisses at you, his trusty little Herdier bristling with rage at his feet. The dog will not stop growling, and you can understand the little pokemon’s sentiment. You keep your eye on the goons advancing on the two of you, pluck your last pokeball from your belt with reluctance.
You back away, Scout hissing as you to just throw the damn ball, Scofflaw, and yeah, okay, there’s no other way out of this.
"Yeah. Run like hell." Your aim is pretty spot on, and the pokeball holding your plan z hits the ground right in front of the lead asshole.
You don’t use your Hydriegon much, usually because when you try it gives you a look like your beneath it, and also because it likes trying to take your arm off at the shoulder. You’re pretty sure it means it in a friendly way.
This time, you don’t even wait around, just beat a hasty retreat with Scout at your heels and the panicking cries of your would-be muggers fading.

aw pISS TAMI YOU MAKE MY LIFE HARDDD
of the fic you’ve written, which are you most proud of?
I’d have to say “All Edges of a Koch Snowflake" for this one. I was just able to get out what I was thinking as clear as I could as I was writing it. It’s not the best peice of work ever written, but I’m pleased by the clarity of the narrative. (for me, anyway. It might just be a jumbled mess of ideas???)
favorite tense (past/present/future)
mMMMM probably Present Tense, though I tend to use all three depending on the circumstances in the story. I do have a problem with subconsciously shifting tenses mid paragraph, which is irritating and jarring even for me as I re-read.
favorite POV (first/second/third/etc)
Definitely second-person, though I enjoy third person just as much. First person PoV is very hard for me to read, and harder for me to write. I find myself lapsing into second-person out of habit, thanks to my Scoff RP blog and writing PS/Homestuck/Intermission fanfic.
create a character on the spot…. NOW!
Perenti monitor lizard shapeshifter with a steady job as a jeweler, crating fabulous works of decorative art for high-society clients, despite the shifter prejudice that’s rife in her society. She’s brash and impulsive, loves hunting down her own gem veins in the wilds, and if she isn’t hip deep in magnifiers, grinding and polishing tools she can be found out in one of the gem-rich caves that surround her town. Decent swordswoman, simply because as deep in the cave systems as she goes if you’re not you’re lunch.
Has an on-again-off-again relationship with a secretary-bird weaver that serves as a lady in waiting to one of her clients.
I done a thing. A poem thing.
Been watching a lot of zefrank lately, and I guess it's something about his voice and the content of his videos, but many of his things have really resonated with me. This isn't even halfway finished yet, but I like what I have so far. Portions of this need to be reorganized or restructured, I think.
