my brothers and i saw a skinwalker. even more horrifying, we watched said skinwalker start as a deer, then morph as it ran across the highway.
to be fair, all of us were ridiculously stoned. weed has never made any of us hallucinate. i was sitting in the backseat, watching through the windshield. it was dark outside, late. we had just done our 30min drive to the nearest taco bell and were back on our way home. satisfied, quiet, enjoying the music and cracking jokes here and there.
the headlights illuminated a deer. it was standing right on the shoulder, leaning forward. it was about to cross. i exclaimed so to my brother, and he slowed down JUST as the "deer" began to haul ass and bound across the four lane highway. before all of our eyes, we watched the thing begin to stretch and whiten. my eyes couldn't really understand what i was seeing as it happened so fast and was just wildly extraordinary. by the end of the road, it was a white, pale humanoid crawling on all fours.
we all described what we saw and it matched perfectly. once in a lifetime chance opportunity, and we almost drove into it...
i have many more paranormal and supernatural experiences i'd love to share. i grew up in several haunted houses ^_^
Woah that’s amazing! What you described the deer turning into is exactly what my fiance and I saw!
So around 6 years ago, we were on our way home on a 6 hour long drive. We were only 10 minutes or so from getting home. It was around 9 pm, in October, and it was raining. It was very cold, wet and dark. This road takes us through a stretch of rural fields and woods. It’s a road we drive on all the time, so we know it well.
We were deep in conversation, and suddenly we both stop talking at the exact same time as we saw it on the edge of the woods by the road. Our headlights completely illuminated it for about 5 seconds. Enough time for us both to lock eyes on it.
For about 30 seconds we didn’t say anything. Eventually I spoke up and said “…did you see..” and my fiancé said “thank god you saw it too!!”
And we went on to describe the exact same thing. A pale white humanoid, at least 7 ft tall. It seemed to have no face. It was impossibly lanky and emaciated. It leaned out of the treeline to look at us. We could see its head, shoulder, part of the torso, its arm and its hand.
We absolutely freaked out. And that’s not all lol
Later we told 2 of our friends about it, and they live in the area. They told us that a few days before, they were at a popular smoking spot in the woods, by a field. They were parked in a car, and looked out toward the far end of the field and saw, in the distance, what looked like a very thin, white, huge naked person galloping on all fours, extremely fast. It popped out of the woods, ran through the field a little, and went back into the woods.
I’m convinced they’re real. I’m fascinated by your story! It’s the first one I’ve read where it transforms into a deer! I’ve seen a lot of people describe them as skinwalkers and I’ve had doubts, since skin walkers are just evil shamans with transformative powers. But your story makes me wonder if there’s something to that theory!
