Eat Drink Play: Street Food, CrawlSF, Bonehead BBQ
by April Hirsch
Summer is coming to an end and San Francisco is itching to party until the sun don’t shine. Pinchy’s guessing you probably spent Monday morning looking out your office window, sounds and memories of Outside Lands streaming through your head. Not to worry. We feel you. Most of us did the same. Our suggestion? Take Friday night off, and live it up all day Saturday from sunset to sunrise.
Eat
Folsom Street invites everyone to gear up for some serious grubbing as some of the best food vendors take to the streets at this year's 3rd Annual Street Food Festival. Vendors like El Huarache Loco, Namu, The Slanted Door, and Curry Up Now, are sure to fill you up while Blue Bottle and the bartenders of Rye keep you buzzin’. Click here to purchase passports, which are available in $25 increments. Eat your heart out! ... You weren’t really going to start that diet until next week anyways.
Drink
Our favorite daytime drinking brigade, CrawlSF, is taking over the Mission this Saturday from 2pm to 6pm for the 1st Annual Mission District Pub Crawl. We’ll be hitting up Elbo Room, Blondies, Skylark, among others and, let’s be real, $2 Premium Beers, $3 Drinks and $3 shots are hard to beat in this city. So get a little sloppy with your closest friends and crawl home with some new ones. Because drinking isn’t reserved for when the sun goes down.
Play (and Rock!)
If you're looking for a combo of music, bbq and plenty of beers this Saturday, get ready to rock out with Stone Temple Pilots, Cheap Trick, Fuel, and more at Fort Mason for 107.7 The Bone’s Bonehead BBQ. What more could you ask for than some killer Southern BBQ in one arm, an ice cold beer in the other, and solid, world-class rock? Doors open at 11AM and the show kicks off at Noon.
