part 1

Jon was a bit drain. His once curly hair that was neatly comb back now in his face and messy.The tie he had on careless left on the floor. He mutter about 'idiot coworkers' and 'Tim being unorganized'.He was going through the tape that he messed up. Let's just say this wasn't his best day and Elias wasn't going to make it better

."And here was have our archivist.. Who is sitting on the floor at the moment" Elias say with a bit of mocking and a small smirk.Jon rolled his eyes and looked up seeing Elias and a new person?

"Shut up Elias, who is this and why is he in the archives" he say with a bit of coldness and a glare toward the newbie."This is Martin Blackwood. Your new assistance. Tim said you might need one and I believe he is right. You look like a mess" Elias gesture to the state of his office.

"I don't need an assistant. I need Tim to do his damn job" Elias rolled his eye at that and dismissed him."Yes yes I've heard your complaints." He waved dismissively. "But for now train your new assistance. He'll need it" before jon could complain more Elias was already walking away leaving Martin standing at the door way like a stray kitten left in the rain.

Jon look at Martin with a cold glare as Martin shrink back nervous."Well.. Martin.. Are you just going to stand there or going to help me?" He says coldly as Martin fumble with the notebook he was holding close to his chest.

"Oh.. Um right.. H-how can I help you?" Martin sounds nervous and scared but wanting to help"Well for starters you can help me organize these tapes instead of standing like a wet cat" he say as he goes back to work.Martin struggle to help Jon. He didn't understand the way tapes were written and kinda just.. Threw them into a pile too scared to ask for help.

30 minutes past as they worked in silence.. Well it was more Jon dismissing Martin question or waving him off.Tim walked into Jon office and notice the two of them he smirk a bit.

"Well Elias finally listen to me? See isn't it better to have a assistant to cheer up your old grumpy self?" Tim tease with a smirk holding 3 new letters in his hand as he leaned on the door frame.

"Yes appearly he takes what you say into consideration." Jon say with an eye roll and a mutter to low to hear. Tim looked over at martin"So who is the newbie anyways? Don't leave me in the blue""Oh.. Um I'm.. M-martin.. Martin.. Blackwood" Martin says nervous with a shakey extended hand as Tim took his hand and shook it firmly."Nice too meet you! I'm Tim the only fun cool one here!"

"More like the only one who doesn't do work" Jon mutters.Tim dramatic grab his chest. "ME?! Never. Come on Martin I'll show you around this big place ok?"Jon rolled his eye as Martin nodded and followed Tim away from the office..

Batty Bats Snuggle Party

Summary:

The Archives crew are all Honduran Tent bats. These little white bats are very furry, live in leaf tents, love figs, and generally live in groups of several females and one male. With all my bat fics and the fact that most the characters in the Magnus Archives aren't straight (or in Jon's case, into sex, which is something these bats tend to do) it got me to thinking... hehehe

It's a very short comedic fic, only 617 words
