Saitou rolled to his side, noticing even in his sleep that it was warmer than usual in his futon. He nestled against the area the heat was coming from, but quickly realized it was a person. His eyes opened, staring at the muscled chest in front of him. He didn’t need to guess who’s chest it was. It was rather simple to know. He reached up, pressing a hand to Shinpachi’s chest, and shoved him over. In one motion, they rolled, the younger swordsman’s knees coming up to straddle the other’s body. His sword came into view, pressing to Shinpachi’s throat. He stared, death-like glare warning the older male not to mess with him, “Shinpachi, what are you doing in my room, in my futon?” It was a natural reflex for him, find himself in a situation he didn’t expect and become defensive. The hand on Shinpachi’s chest pressed down, supporting the samurai’s weight as he leaned forward to peer down at Shinpachi, “Answer me, now.”
