Still here, somewhat. Work continues to be crazy busy as I’ve been hiring 3 positions and last week I got a surprise intern. He’s been interning for 6 months, 3 months each on two different teams, neither of which want him - but his eagerness impressed me and I heard enough good things about him I decided to give him a try.

I hired someone for my team but there’s still two open roles on my sub-team (scratch that, we just offered to a candidate and he accepted) but we’re still interviewing for the 2nd role.

Meanwhile I’ve been doing my best to actively engage with Apollo to help him spend some energy on fun things - aggressive tug of war, luring him around with a “flirt pole” (little stuffed furball at the end of a rope on a several foot long pole, they chase the furball and you keep it away from them (occasionally letting them “win”)).

Anyhow the above pic is from when he was attempting to jump and get it (even though I wanted him to sit first!). I finally relented and just started playing with him. But his head is at about my shoulder level. So I decided to buy some agility tools and engage him a different way.

Life is a bit chaotic atm. I haven't even had a chance to glance at my rp tracker, much less answer one of my big threads. I am so sorry. We are in the process of packing up my mother's house and it's a very difficult process.
