MORE PROOF THAT TAIRN RULES! AND THAT HE'S TOTALLY AN ASIAN PARENT!
"You're so awesome!"
-my supervisor, to me
I lose things and forget places and routines and times for things, constantly. So I have my entire work schedule in my google calendar- where I go, when I go, what I'm doing, who I'm with, with any instructions (turn on the lights at 2:15) written in the Notes section.
My supervisor saw me entering in the fall's schedule, and was super duper impressed. Then she went to the head of our division, told her what I'd done, and SHE was impressed. And told me to show other folks what I'd done, because it was such a good idea.
All this because with anything less I'd be completely lost all the time.
Memory loss ftw!

That I doubted just how much of a Hopeless Romantic I am, this surprise I'm planning for @keepcalmandclexaon has proven it to me!

Oh how they mocked my “hoarding problem” but WHO’S LAUGHING NOW HA HA HA
Why do I make the most cockamamie ideas for knitting? Why does trying to find self striping yarn for all of the Avengers (and a few others) appeal to me so much? I should not try to make socks for all of them, this is ludicrous!
Also, why do so many of the people in Marvel use red as one of their colors?
Proof of my genius, or insanity
I spent four hours last night creating a weekly to-do list for the next 60 weeks. Yep, that’s into April 2015. I know what I should be writing, and even reading and watching (though there’s wiggle room there).
I’m hoping having an extensive and yet broken down list will keep me on track. There’s a lot I want to do this year—write three novels, a novella, and a short story, publish two novels, a novella, and a short story, publish five audio books, etc—and I none of it’ll happen if I don’t do the work.
But speaking of doing the work, it is debatable if that four hours might not have been better spent outlining the first of those three novels.
