Why do I make the most cockamamie ideas for knitting? Why does trying to find self striping yarn for all of the Avengers (and a few others) appeal to me so much? I should not try to make socks for all of them, this is ludicrous!

Also, why do so many of the people in Marvel use red as one of their colors?

i've been trying to find good places to buy cheap fabric in downtown and i think i finally found where to go. maybe i can go next week. hopefully they sell good thread around there too.
