well I was honest with my uni and they suspended me from the course... I never completed my degree, but it's probably different for everyone

It depends where you work. Thankfully I've been surrounded by understanding people wherever I've worked/studied. Also it's against the disability discrimination act to fire you just because of a diagnosis if you aren't putting anyone in danger xxx

Hmm it's your decision, I think it's differenty for everyone. I told it at work, and they're really great.
Charlotte: I've got to speak to college on Tuesday about everything that happened last week, I have a horrible feeling that I'm going to be asked to leave the course:/
I think that that could be because it was health related though, whereas with work i'm just behind the bar/serving food/talking to customers/cleaning. It's not like if I could put anyone's life in danger (not that i think that you would do but it's possible).
Becca/Celine: I don't know how work would react to be honest which is why I'm worried about telling them. Especially because I've been diagnosed for at least two years now and I've been working there for almost a year, I'm worried that they would fire me because I wasn't honest with them from the beginning... I just hate lying to them though!
I think that they would either be really supportive and do anything they could to help me, or they will gradually start reducing my shifts until I don't have any.
I think I'm going to speak to my brother about it. He's worked at the same place for 6 years now (when he's back from University) and so he probably has a better idea of how they'd react and what I should do.
