Booker can't drive so he practically only relies on public transportation or Gus who instead had a car.
The reason why is because driving can feel too overwhelming for him (since i kinda headcanon him as autistic) (hope this headcanon doesn't feel out of place or hurts someone) he decided that is better this way. So practically he knows every bus.

poor booker 😞; I could imagine him cheerfully greeting people on like, a bus, only to get dirty looks or like,,, nnnot very nice responses, considering how people talked about him in the city

I feel like he’s the type to stay home often, or at least not leave his lil town (?), mayhaps to avoid the sounds of sirens from ambulances or police cars for.. certain reasons..
