I have a question, and sorry if it's been asked before, but how do you draw such good expressions on your animals? Like I love your werewolf au and the busts of actual pets, and your anthro oc's but it's so hard for me to figure out how to get expressions to come across. No worries if you can't answer, I'm just curious!

Honestly I think the answer here is just do a lot of studies! When I decided I wanted to get better at drawing animals and expressions, I would just go online and look up lots of pictures of which ever animal I wanted to draw - snarling, playing, etc. and I’d try to draw them with more human-like expressions.

Then add to that - studies from people who are REALLY good at animal expressions. I know a lot of people hate the company, but the artists at disney are amazing at this with their older films

(I love how they stretched the edges of Scar’s face lol - I wish I was better at doing stuff like that!)

Or other animated studios 

And eventually if you draw this stuff enough it starts to sink in ahah!

I don’t have any tutorial for expressions bc honestly theres so many - you just have to draw a bunch and get a feel for them!!

basically five of the eight people I lived with at the time worked at McDonald's and so I'd sort of just hang out there after school with them and I was there so much the owners knew me and would let me have free food and go in the back if I helped out with small things like setting up holiday decorations and events (I once dressed up as Santa) so I had basically free roam of the place as long as I didn't touch the food or registers. Like I would help clean for when corporate would come down and have actually met some of the super high up bosses for McDonald's (they also used to buy me stuff from the mcds catalog) but basically they were trying to get more buissness so in the middle of August, on a 90° day with the sun beating down I'm dressed in jeans, steal toe boots, a t-shirt, sweatshirt and a hat and this,

Biggest problem is I don't really feel heat so I'm just out in the parking lot taking pictures with kids and almost fuckin pass out from heatstroke in that purple monstrosity. I was saved by my weak bladder and the need for assistance to take the costume off and apparently I was drenched in sweat and red as a tomato so... It was still pretty fun tho

i love that u were essentially adopted by a mcdonald’s like a gentle alley cat who the cooks lay out a plate of food for every night because they keep the critters away,,,,, incredible
