Mo: Hey, so I know you’re sick of me asking you if you’re okay. And I know you’re never going to admit it even if you’re NOT okay so I promise I’ll stop asking.

Mo: Instead, I wanted to see what your plans for King’s Day are. I thought maybe we could go with a group of like me, you, Riley, Skylark, Diz, and Rosemary if everyone’s up for it? After all, carnival games are always more fun with more people. And everything is always more fun when you’re around, so you haveeee to come.

Betsy: You're very sweet for asking, but I'm just not sure there's anything left to say that I haven't already said before. And I'm sure you all must be mighty tired of me feeling sorry for myself, huh? I'm not completely okay yet but thanks to great friends like you I will be.

Betsy: And I think I'd like that very much, actually, if the offer's still standing! I'm mighty good at the ring toss when I want to be, and I always did love the carousel and the ferris wheel. You're sure I won't be imposing?

You didn’t ruin my date! Riley is really cool and she’s a good friend so she totally gets that it was just that a friend needed me. We’re actually going on this cool picnic this weekend so hopefully that goes a little bit more smoothly! I’m not that sweet, I mean I did kind of lose my temper by the end of the wedding.

She sounds just as sweet as can be, I’m so glad you’ve had such swell luck on finding somebody like her. And a picnic sounds very romantic, she’d be silly not to appreciate the sentiment. Or the company, to be honest; why, I’m sure you could pack nothing more than a spoonful of peanut butter and it would still be a perfect day for her. I suppose you did... I know I shouldn’t thank you for that, it’s not right to punch him, but well... Thank you anyways.

Mo: So I was thinking maybe that for our next date we should just do something normal and alone. We don’t seem to have the best track record in the world and third time’s the charm, right?

Riley: Totally! Lucky number three! Or I guess it's actually lucky number seven, but it won't take us seven times to have the best date ever, right?

Riley: And I love picnics! What could possibly go wrong?

I don’t know what world you live in, but she was obviously pretty attached already. So I don’t know where the kindness was. Well, I suppose I should thank Chad for doing it so early. He could have had a beautiful evening with one of the most beautiful people I know, instead I got the satisfaction of hitting him. If he’d done it later on, it would have been much harder for me to hunt him down.

Well, of course, he’s Chad, how could she not be enamored with him? But attending a wedding together is a precursor to having your own wedding someday, and well, once Chad realized that he simply couldn’t picture a ceremony like that in their future -- the heart doesn’t always have convenient timing, dear Maurice, I’m very sorry that you don’t have the experience to understand such a thing. You’re really quite lucky he’s not pressing charges for that, by the way. So very generous of him.

Oh my god, I’m so glad. I mean I obviously would have rather danced my two left feet around with you all night but I couldn’t watch someone I care about be so sad. But I heard there might be something else coming up again soon, so maybe we’ll get another shot at a super romantic date. Third time’s the charm, right?

Nobody deserves to be sad at a wedding, I really hope you were able to help her! Oh, really? That would be awesome, all the events here in Auradon are way less crazy than the ones back home. In a good way, though! Neverland can be the bad kind of crazy sometime. I’d love to try again for sure!

Yeah, that was my bad because I took like a week to return his text. I get kind of dead-to-the-world when I’m holed up in my lab working on a project. But it’s definitely a date! I mean, if you still want it to be.

Really? But you guys live together, if he was really trying he could have just like... asked you out loud. But that’s okay! I’d definitely still want it to be, that sounds really fun.
