What he hadn’t expected, however, was the texture. The moment his fingers touched the corn cob, Jax recoiled, eyes wide, and dropped it like it was on fire as he jumped backwards several feet in the air, like a cat that had just had a bucket of water thrown on top of it. "WHAT THE F*%^?!" he shouted, darting behind a tent pole to put some distance between them and violently ignoring the heat in his cheeks.
