Still working on my humble RPG idea for which I'd like to make a short prequel game before the end of the year (getting out of this game dev burnout first). Currently writing some short stories, actually.

I got a website for it but tl;dr it's an elaborate excuse to write about lesbian childhood friend knights and all my favourite RPG tropes. Empire VS Kingdom! Magic rocks! The horrors of war! Attack and dethrone God! Spend hours talking to grannies instead of killing the dragon blocking your path! I'm having lots of fun with it.

I'm also cursed by the need of composing track after track for it. I want to compose for rpgs so bad (hire me to delay my inevitable death).

Some things I got so far:

Lifelong Dream: short twine story on how Elster and Grus, the two main characters, started dating. There's also a nice bgm.

Everyday Things: Would you look at that! The kid who's lost her family in a fire has PTSD! Elster shows Grus the kind of empathy you'd expect from an 8 years old.

The Azure Bolt: Elster discovers a bit too late you have to kill real people at war.

Frida and Ioras: Nothing like losing your girlfriend to get the motivation needed to climb the ranks to fill a void that's never going to heal! I love writing Frida

The Adventuring Princess of Himmelheit: Elster and Grus end up babysitting the Princess. Elster is not amused.

NEW! Bonds of Steel: Genius kid in territories plagued by the war builds a gun! Local doctor is not too happy with it.

I predict this is going to haunt the next 10 years of my life. Very excited about it.

Couldn’t get enough of Utena so I just themed this year’s after space Utena.
