"i blame (dogwhistle that bigots have radically changed the meaning of in the last three years) for (antisemtism which has been repeated verbatim for thousands of years)" ??
i say this as a jewish antizionist who keeps showing up to support palestine despite receiving a lot of bigotry aimed at me in those spaces but how is blaming a recently formed subsection of a oppressed group for the bigotry aimed at the whole oppressed group ever an acceptable thing to do ? i dont think "antisemitism is on the rise, must be the jews fault" is like ever ever going to be a good take to have
I keep rereading this trying to understand where the disconnect is. I'm also not sure which post you are referencing. In one post I am arguing that antisemitism is on the rise and everyone needs to be cognizant of this and learn to separate actual antisemitism from zionist propaganda. In another post I talked about how people are leaning into antisemitic talking points either knowingly or unknowingly as zionists muddy the waters of defining antisemitism.
As a fellow jewish antizionist you ought not to conflate "zionist" with "Jewish" because where did I ever blame anyone besides explicitly blaming zionists? I blame the zionist narrative for creating openings for white supremacist narratives to become normalized and stand by that.
Where is the confusion?
