A delightful twist on traditional cake pops, these Mint Oreo Pops combine the cool minty flavor of Oreo cookies with rich cream cheese, coated in smooth white chocolate.
Ingredients: 1 package Mint Oreo cookies. 1 package cream cheese 8 oz, softened. 1 cup white chocolate chips, melted. 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract. Green food coloring optional. Crushed mint candies for decoration.
Instructions: In a food processor, pulse Mint Oreos until fine crumbs form. Mint Oreo crumbs and softened cream cheese should be well combined in a mixing bowl. Toss in the peppermint extract and green food coloring, if using, and stir until well combined. Roll the mixture into tiny balls and arrange on a tray lined with parchment paper. Place in the fridge to chill for a minimum of half an hour. In a bowl safe for the microwave, melt the white chocolate chips, stirring every 20 seconds to ensure smoothness. Make sure every Mint Oreo ball is completely covered after dipping it into the melted white chocolate. Lift it out with a fork so that any extra chocolate can fall off. Reposition the coated Mint Oreo ball onto the tray lined with parchment paper, then decorate with crushed mint candies. Take the remaining Mint Oreo balls and dip them again. To give the chocolate time to solidify, refrigerate the Mint Oreo Pops for a further 15 to 20 minutes. Your much faster, tastier Mint Oreo Pops are ready to be served!
