Even though the Grey Jedi is not technically “cannon” I like to think “well… if I want it like that I’ll have it like that.”
Jedi : Fight for the light side at all cost to keep Balance.
Sith : Only practice the dark parts of the force and like chaos … will probably tickle your toes at night and scare the shit out of you.
Grey Jedi : A Jedi who physically left the Jedi Order willingly but never turned to the dark side even though they call on the dark parts of the force.
