Some tips/ideas for things that I do to ground myself when I feel anxious or distracted:

Make tea or coffee. I especially love looseleaf tea or pourover coffee for this.

Touch something real and solid, like a book or a tree or a flower.

Drink water, or the hot tea or coffee you made!

Write down a list of things that you love, or just make life worth it.

Take a nap.

Create something! It can be anything—a painting, write a story, make jewelry, a collage, etc.—as long as you made it.

Listen to a song to which you know all the lyrics, and sing along.

Go for a walk.

Play with a pet.

Light a candle.

Talk to yourself, or build an imaginary world.

Exercise!

Plan a trip to somewhere you've always wanted to go, even if you can't really go at the moment.

Do something adventurous, like go hiking, trespass somewhere (just don't get caught!), get on a roof, climb an electrical tower, go cliff jumping, run through a field, whatever!
