Westerners  had such weird clothing, he thinks as he goes to entertain guests. Usually a job done by the wife of the family, but as long as he remains by the side of the Toyotomi, then it is just him.

Bloody hell. This was all going south quickly, isn’t it? 

Angelina Durless never imagined herself to be in this situation. The good doctor swore on her life to protect the weak! Instead? She’s been cutting the lives of five women, thus far, short. She told herself this couldn’t continue. There’s absolutely no possibility that the body count can continue climbing steadily without being caught. Well, that was until who she thought to be a guardian angel came to her aid. A shinigami by the name of Grell was her saving grace! By becoming her butler, Grell was able to create air-tight alibis for the Madame. Not only that, but assist in the murders and do away with the corpses!

The crimson-haired woman didn’t have to fear a single thing. Well, until she didn’t have the courage to kill her own kin. 

That’s when the ‘death god’ abandoned her side. She barely escaped with her own life. It took sprinting down the dark alleyways of the London slums to survive. She didn’t get away without getting injured. A gloved hand pressed against the stab wound her stomach received, panting heavily with an open mouth. Angelina slumped against a cold brick wall for support. It most likely won’t be long until she’s caught up with a finished off. Jack the Ripper is out of options. 

How ironic: the infamous serial killer now turned into the prey. Is this karma? 

Painted-red lips clenched tightly together. The pain is immense. The wound isn’t fatal, but it doesn’t mean it’s not a burden to deal with. The injury can be addressed later. What Angelina truly needs is to disappear into the night, and pretend this night never happened. Her facade of being a proper lady is going down the drain as she stood bleeding.  It isn’t fair.

A shaky inhale occurred when hearing approaching footsteps. Is this the reaper finally here to deliver eternal sleep? The woman of red isn’t ready to go in the slightest. Angelina swallowed heavily, slowly calling out to who she assumes to be her undoing. What’s the point of running any longer?

Kidd never minded these sharp nails near or on their face, they appreciated it. No one was better at caressing them than their father, not that anyone else had done it before. The notion of boredom touching them sent a shiver down their spine, fragile grip on the creator’s suit tightened.       HE STANDS AT TWICE HIS RIDER’S HEIGHT, BARING TEETH and arching his back to look almost three times as big. They had only stepped a few feet from the forest’s entrance and already the LIGHT FURY had grown somewhat tense, and had wrapped his tail-fluke around his young companion like it were a safety bar. 

      To Kubo, it was an odd situation; a stranger in the woods is not a common sight but this figure had looked somewhat ... dainty. Still, he placed a reassuring hand on the dragon’s shoulderblade, uncertain whether to look apologetic or untrustworthy. “ VANISHER ... what is it? ”

“What’s happening...?” Cordelia gasped, watching the scene unfold before her eyes. Her expression shifted to one of shock; she wasn’t quite sure what to make of it. Something was wrong.
