I completely agree.  Again, the comparison to how the love themes in Harry Potter are treated is RIGHT THERE.  It's a real shame that people seemingly want to constraint the types of stories told simply because the protagonist is female, and it's not exactly what I would call a feminist approach.

In a scene in THG she ponders the future, when Prim's married and gone, & she's left alone. It scares her. She WANTS a family, but can't risk it in the world she grows up in. That bit, plus her dreaming of the epilogue? Blatant foreshadowing.

I also completely agree with this:  Collins is not subtle with her foreshadowing.  The very fact that Katniss wants Prim, her beloved sister, to marry and have a family shows that she DOES equate having a family a desirable thing that can bring happiness (because she would NEVER have wanted Prim to be less than happy).  But it's something that she fears for herself, and so I always viewed her thoughts of Prim marrying as a kind of projection.  After Peeta's baby announcement before the Quell, she even tells the reader that what she fears most is losing her children, not having them. So, yeah, it's hard for me to understand a reading that doesn't recognize that Katniss having children IS actually a manifestation of her wishes.

But she’s acting in a 2nd language! How impressively fluent is that? There’s also a certain irony in people speaking a language called English saying only Americans speak without accent. We *all* have an accent. IMO it’s nice that we do, too.

I think the American accent is just as pronounced as the Spanish accent. And both Spanish and Americans are speaking "English". And even people from different parts of England have different accents when speaking their own language. And I totally agree with you - I think it's great! I mean, I don't know if any of you have heard me speak, but I basically seem to finish each sentence with a questioning tone. I guess Hollywood would hate me then. (apart from the fact that I'm dark and short and chubby and have crooked legs :P)

Yes, there have been some nasty posts about them not being able to understand a word she says and sneering at her for saying "chemistry audition" instead of "chemistry reading". It's beyond embarrassing (for them, even though they are not aware of it) honestly.

I can't find that damn thing anywhere, I'm sorry! I tried going back a bunch of pages to find it but I can't remember when I made it or what kind of tags I used. I know I didn't tag it with Gale or anything, but I can't remember tagging it as anything else. I'm sorryyyy.

I’m the same. There seem to be a lot of us one here who are INFPs. Four out if the six I’ve seen (well, that’s including me though I didn’t post). Whatever. We’re Amelie AND Luna? We’re awesome, yes? ;)

I was very excited about Hiccup! I love Hiccup! I relate to Hiccup except I am definitely not as courageous as him!

I got INFP as well! And 3 and 4 were on my list.

We both have a little Baby and Luna in us! 

You know who wasn't on there bc they aren't popular enough of a character but I am pretty sure is an INF is Delly Cartwright. I'm 5000% sure that Delly is my book character twin!

If you could have one thing in life - a possession, talent, quality, anything - what would it be?

Hmm. Thought about a couple different things for this, but I think the answer would be good health. I’m lucky to have that now and I REALLY hope it’s something that stays true for a long, long time for me. I have some anxiety around medical stuff, plus being in the US I feel like your fortune can turn on a dime if you ever run into medical issues.
