✨ Doing it for the process ✨ Acrylics are a medium I don’t tend to work with a lot, but I’ve had some and some canvasses sitting around so I thought I might as well use them. I was a bit inspired by 2 of my arty friends as both of them work with acrylic much more than I do and their work is beautiful! I started by sketching this girl out on the canvas and using some acrylic mixed with fluid matte medium to make it easier to see the sketch underneath. After everything had mostly dried I went in with some @liquitexofficial purple acrylic ink and @carandache neocolor 2 crayons for details on the face, I’ve never used watercolour before on canvas so it was quite interesting! While that was drying I added some splotches of acrylic on to the rest of the canvas and made the background, dropping on top dots of metallic acrylic ink once the first layer had dried. Finally I used a neocolor and more acrylic ink for the hair and some Posca pen to finish the piece off before letting it sit for a few days and varnishing it.
