Three days into doing Nanowrimo with a friend, and I have decided I never want to go back to doing it alone again. Having someone to write with is so much fun. I love being able to message someone about when I’m going to write, and how far I’ve gotten, and have someone send me updates back!! I love getting to be invested in more than just my own story! My writing buddy and I are in different cities, our writing styles are drastically different, and we’re each struggling with different aspects of nanowrimo more than others. But why should writing be a solitary quest into the wild, when journeys are so much more warm and joyful with friends?
