Creation’s Weapons Policy

Recently Creation have been adding weapons policy information to the PDF tickets for ops. There is also information under the FAQs section on their website. Before you decide to bring prop weapons for you photo op pose, costume competition, or to be autographed, please read the following from the Creation website:

WEAPONS POLICY

Creation and the hotel would prefer that you not bring any weapons to the show. There has been a lot going on in this country and we'd all feel more comfortable if there weren't any weapons, even fake ones, at our shows. Hope you can understand.

If you want to use it in a photo op/autograph, you can leave it in your room/car until it's time for the photo op/autograph. Then go get it for the picture/autograph and return it to your room/car after the picture/autograph is over.

If you want to use it in the costume contest, you can leave it in your room/car until it's time for the contest. Then go get it for the contest and return it to your room/car after the contest is over.

Hi so I'm going to a spn con in like 14 days and I have a polariod camera and I would love to,during the autographs, have them sign a picture of us maybe taken right then or something. If thats not allowed would they be able to sign pictures taken elsewhere? also, I have photo shoots with alot of them. Is it totally against the rules, even if they say yes, to use the polaroid? I know some people use their phones sometimes..... Agh I really want polaroids of them

Totally against the rules in both the photos and autos - so nope, you won’t be able to snap a polaroid with them to have them sign it. 

The photos that look like people have taken a selfie with their phones in the photo op room, is actually Chris the photographer taking the photo with his camera, which along with the pose, he makes look like a selfie.

Phones are not allowed to be out in the photo room - unless you need to show a pose to the guys and it’s on your cameraroll, then you have to clear that with the Creation volunteer. You are also not allowed to have phones out in the autos. 

So it’s a big no to grabbing a polaroid with them in either of those situations. They can sign anything else you want, and certainly, you can get your photo ops signed - they’re usually printed in time for most auto sessions. But nope to snapping a polaroid.

A friend of mine is looking at going to a con but is curious if she can purchase things through PayPal. Do you know if she can??

No she can’t. Unfortunately Creation don’t use PayPal.

Me and my friend are going to the convention and we got General Admission for Saturday and preferred admission for Sunday. Do we need to take a adult so we can see the on-stage appearances? I'm 18 and my friend is 17

Nope! There are plenty of fans in their teens that come along to conventions just with friends.
