Creative Bastards Magazine

Hey guys! My friend Ellis is running an amazing student-led magazine called Creative Bastards.

I am helping a small bit, as are a few of our other wonderful University friends and coursemates, but it's mainly Ellis doing it all.

We could really use your support - submissions closed in July, and Ellis is hoping that the first issue will be ready to come out later this year. Please spread the word, particularly people in the UK (and in particular anyone from Nottingham or anywhere in the East Midlands), to let other people know about this up-and-coming creative writing magazine!

Welcome to Creative Bastards Magazine!

Hi Tumblr!🤗 This is the official blog of a student-run magazine, that's based in Nottingham in the UK, called Creative Bastards.

Our magazine is aiming to showcase a range of creative work from comics and illustrations to short stories and poetry, and we are specifically hoping to showcase student creators, authors in particular.

This is a passion project, coming from the mind of an Under-graduate Creative Writing student, who has enlisted some fellow Creative Writers (and friends) to help them.

Primarily, there are two of us running things - me, Rebecca, who will mainly be running this blog and the Twitter page, as well as doing the admin - and Ellis, who is the Editor-In-Chief and runs the Instagram as well. This is a project we are running in our spare time, so posting will be irregular.

However, we hope to have our first issue printed, and to launch in October this year! Hope to see some interest, especially from writers!
