post CGen depression.
What to do after five months of interning with such amazing people and such beautiful performers? The last week especially, has been ever hour of my day thinking about Creative Generation and now I just don't know what to do with myself. The kids I worked with have come so far since I met them back in March. They come from all over the state too, so seeing them again is completely 50/50.
I can say nothing other than, I have found my calling. I don't think I could have asked for a better or more enjoyable opportunity than the one I received. A network full of beautiful people spread far and wide across the state. Everyone of them more lovely than the last. Impossibly amazing.
Thank you Creative Generation.
Bring on Thursday!
Super excited to see all my Creative Gen buddies on Thursday night at our gallery opening!
For anyone living in Brisbane, come and check out the Creative Generation Excellence in Art and Visual Design Award recipients' artworks in the Gallery of Modern Art, South Bank. The exhibition opens to the public this Saturday, March 3, and will run until June 3.
These are all artworks by 16 to 18 year olds who completed grade 12 last year (2011). Come down and support us and check out the work we've done! After the exhibition closes at GoMA in June, it will then be toured around various regional Queensland art galleries.
First performance tomorrow night.
I am so nervous and my throat is still disgustingly croaky. This is not good.
