Rana likes fingerpainting alot, so she constantly has to wash her hands, her hands are always usually clean if they arent covered in paint
She also really likes shiny things. like a crow. OH AND SHES 100% A KANDI KID (despite being nearly a full grown adult). CATCH HER ASS IN BED AT 2AM STRINGING BEADS TOGETHER MAKING KANDI OUT OF BOREDOM
Shes Rubys younger sister!!!
Rana will get very moody and cling to Piko, sometimes even get pissy if he isnt just SITTING IN THE SAME ROOM AS HER. (same applies with Ruby, Rana loves her sister)
Rana can get really mean. really fast. and say it in the sweetest tone ever. "Aww, did you just get your hair done? It looks terrible!" with the biggest smile on her face
Cannot stand in the same room as Dex without wanting to strangle him

Piko is a bit of a neat freak, but like, subtly. if someone leaves a coffee cup on the table without a coaster, he will put it on a coaster or correct them. He will offer to clean up the daycare after days with the kids because he has a certain way everything needs to be (IF YOURE CONFUSED ABOUT THE DAYCARE PART, ITS PART OF A HC/AU OF MINE THAT ILL LINK BELOW). Rana, Ruby and Dex are used to the way he cleans up and organizes it so they let him
His glasses aren't for decoration. he quite literally does need them, and will feel every surface around him until he finds his glasses (its usually a good change rana took them.)
They have a few bracelets from Rana that he keeps on his dresser, their too colorful for his liking to wear while working with kids but he will wear them occasionally in his free time, just to show he still appreciates them
dare i say bookworm.
doesn't like when Rana gets glitter anywhere, he hates glitter

Ruby is definitely the mom-friend, she always has snacks on hand and checks in with everyone regularly. she would always have colorful bandages for kids ready
She checks in on Dex the most, Her and Dex are childhood friends
Ruby likes pom-poms alot, she likes how fluffy and pretty they are
She makes Kandi and bracelets with Rana sometimes!!
Unlike her sister, Ruby likes traditional painting alot. She keeps easels around for her own personal use and to help teach kids!!
Ruby likes looking fashionable alot, whether it be fluffy dresses with colors or messy overalls covered in paint, she finds it to be fun
Has to help Rana paint her nails. Shes really good at it too!
Dex:

he/it
Dex is either running is mouth or is oddly silent. no in between unless there's a reason.
He does have arms!! he just keeps them tucked under his cloak
Dex can see in the dark. woah. he probably glows in the dark too. like a glowstick
Man can hiss like a cat. but like, scarier
Also has shockingly sharp nails and teeth. hes very cat like
speaking of this, he lurks alot.
He likes listening to Piko read, sometimes just sitting in a quiet room together and listening to the other is all the hang out time they need together.
Dex is either extremely social or refuses any kind of social interaction entirely unless its with Ruby. depends on the day
He likes tea alot. especially chamomile.
It doesnt like much physical touch, but he makes exceptions
Both/Others
Piko is the only one that didn't grow up entirely with the others from early on, Ruby and Rana are sisters, Ruby and Dex are friends from Childhood, Rana and Dex have this "sibling" rivalry (having grown up both being close to ruby). Rana met Piko when she was about 10 and they became close, Eventually Piko became close to all of them to now be apart of their circle
All of them are this strange kind of creature, thats why they are so close to eachother. Yknow how the thing about bulls being upset apon seeing red, they are kind of like that but with green. If exposed to too bright greens for certain periods of time, it triggers this. The amount of time Varies between them, but Rana is always the first to be triggered by it as she gets triggered much faster than the others (i will show an example below the cut)
Rana is the youngest, Dex is the oldest (Rana & Pilo are both 18, Ranas younger by 2 months. Ruby is 24 and Dex is 25)
They all work together id the daycare, and live together. bc why not!!!
