So last week I spent all day at a conference with some very important people, spruiking a digitisation product, and a digital learning hub my work has created for them.

One particular member wanted to argue the basis of writing things down with a pen or pencil because of the connection it makes to your brain and how you can be more connected and in tune with the things you write that way. I thought this was super interesting.

Considering most of my own writing gets furiously typed into my phone’s OneNote before I bash it out into my computer later, I spent the rest of the conversation screaming at myself internally “Don’t talk about your fanfiction don’t talk about your fanfiction don’t talk about your fanfiction-“

Can you imagine though if this gentleman was one of my followers though?! “Writing things physically can connect you to what you’re creating sure, but can I talk to you about all the stupid things I make an angel and demon do using my keyboard?”

I am curious though, for all my fellow fanfic writers out there, do you literally put pen to paper when writing and does this action help your flow of ideas better, or are you purely a digital person? Love to hear your thoughts!

170324 || found the cutest bubble tea place that offers awesome drinks and plays kpop music! Definitely one of my new favourite places to go. Anyways, doing some work for my writing class. This assignment is really fun for me since it's a creative writing project.
