Zine Making & Layering Images

Today we experimented with different textured paper such as coloured paper, tracing paper, thick card, kraft paper and many more. We used them to print our images. We then cut and layered them on to different shots. We used them for our Zines and our Creative Workbooks.

I used tracing paper for two of my images and then glued them together which had a great outcome.

Multiple Images

We were given a task to blend multiple images using Photoshop to create something unique of our own. I experimented with using two different layers of the same image and changing the blending mode to multiply. I then added a layer mask and had a little use of the spot healing brush tool as a final touch.

This was my final image:

I was quite happy with my final outcome as it was my first time creating a multiple image. I like that my image has a mysterious and dull look which makes it a bit intriguing to the viewers eye.
