But when you're faced with the choice of breaking your moral code or going to your personal idea of hell, sometimes one option is a little less terrible than the other. He's got four years to figure something out before he loses himself to the madness.

Beginnings

Hello.

Welcome to the beginning of the Silver Bird Studio Blog.  Right now is that awkward time where there isn’t really anything of note here.  When I, the author am still in the stages of “What would I even blog about?!”.   There is an attempt at a strong identity through some uploaded pics and color choices, but no doubt three months from now I am going to look back at new blogger me and chuckle (hopefully) or groan at the amateurish choices I made. 

I’m an incredibly introspective and analytical person so as I lay in bed last night wondering what style of blogger I wanted to be, I came to two conclusions. 

First, I always want to be sincere with what I am saying, and why I am posting.

Second, This will be a place for me to log my artistic merchant journey.

So, full disclosure, this blog was created to support my shiny new etsy page.  But if I keep up with this blog, I don’t want to look back in the future and just see post after post of “HEY GUYS LOOKIT THIS THING BUY IT K?”.  I want there to be something of emotional value if not to others, definitely myself.

My hope then, is to post about what and why I am creating.  I will post things I complete and there will be links to the shop, but I’m hoping there will also be insight to all of it that is engaging and interesting to read about.
