Final drawing for my art class

OKAY! LETS BEGIN

As the title states, this was my final drawing for my college Drawing I class. And I would show you guys the process, but post the final version one a separate post itself.

As stated on my sketchbook, I have to use two big pieces of sketchbook paper and make it into a one big drawing. At first I didn't know what to draw due to missing class on Monday, I was a bit behind. But thinking about for a while it struck me.

"I could do a Sun Wukong and Macaque...."

And I went with the flow.

I had a CLEAR mental image in my head. So clear, that I wanted to jump right into the bigger paper. But I needed to do a rough sketch first.

Starting with the sketch and a rough of what I wanted this to be. Along with a few notes to remind myself of what I want it to end up as.

I will type out the notes I wrote to make it more easier to read.

Figure out how hair (fur) looks at side profile

Fix monitor be more center and floating(ish)

Background won't be entirely black (it will be black blueish or midnight colors w/ a hint of purple)

I had a very clear image in my head and knew what I wanted, but I know putting it on paper would be a different image then the one I had.

The next step to do was to figure out the clothes tht these two Monkie bois wear. Which would would be the next post ->
