Is tumblr on drugs?!?
Anyone making an AU ever have a random thought and that makes the au have a super dark moment?
One day over the holidays, I'm gonna sit down with Undertale and a note book and start making M.somnia notes. Havent had a proper playthrough of the OG in a while and its good to consume the original media to inform the fan work, cause there's lots of gaps in my memory.
Would be especially helpful to better develop the other characters.
I made you
you've taken over my thoughts
your eyes, your hands, your easy grace
the way you hold a cigarette
the way you hold your wife
so I made you
look how beautiful my love is
so beautiful my chest feels tight
I can't swallow the lump in my throat
I made you
can I climb up into your strong arms?
they ease the pain in my heart
I made you
can I stay here, just for a little while?
poem and gif by me
I didn't create anything today and it makes me feel, idk, deflated? I've made something every day since Pedro cracked me open (metaphorically ppl 😅) it's like I can't stop
I had an epiphany the other day
I have a huge mental block on making art right now, so drawing anything for megalosomnia seems impossible in the near future
But I don't have the same block with writing, I just do that for fun
So, I guess I could just write a fanfic, that's doable
Notes vs Notifications
There is a quiet difference between ideas that arrive in notes and ideas shaped by notifications. Notes wait. They sit half formed, messy, unoptimized. They do not demand a reaction. They let creativity wander without an audience.
Notifications behave differently. They interrupt. They suggest urgency. They reward speed over depth and response over reflection. Creativity online often learns to perform before it learns to think.
Many creators notice that their clearest ideas appear offline, in margins, drafts, or forgotten documents. Online, those same ideas get compressed. Shortened. Polished too early.
The tension is not new, but it feels sharper now. Growth tools and analytics matter, especially when building visibility on platforms like Instagram. Resources such as Path Social focus on understanding how promotion and reach actually work, but even the best strategy cannot replace space for real thinking.
Sometimes the most productive move is closing the app and opening a note. Creativity usually starts there, long before it asks to be seen.
