It will! I think i mentioned it last year on one of my long rambles, but i needed to focus more on my life this year, so i put the comic on an indefinite hiatus. I didnt exaaacctly announce it because i was afraid of people thinking it got canceled, and i did end up posting an update this year. Problem is i cant tell if ill need to take another year off yet, despite already being december! Life is hard :/

I do want to thank everyone for your pacience! If it was up to me i'd just snap my fingers and the entire comic would be available, but unfortunately i cant bend time at my will yet. I still have plans for it, but i also cant abandon my life for it. Behind all the frills and thrills, im still just an ordinary person who likes fantube a little too much.

On the other hand, ive been posting normal fanart to my main twt account since it takes less time to make than the updates (and i cant exactly cure my urge to draw) so i guess there's that. Also, i plan on releasing atleast 1 update this month, but we'll see how that goes.

Well, I use Paint tool sai to make the sprites, Paint.net to put the text boxes right, and ol’ demirramon’s text box generator .If what you want is a tutorial in UT/DELTARUNE styled sprites, then this guide made by Fms is what you are looking for!

I just wanna say that your blog is so cool and was an inspiration for my own, @the-inky-waters. My kitties wave hi to yours.

If I can ask, what made you settle on such a unique perspective? Not just the single parent idea lol, but how Thornshade is dead (unless I am reading things so wrong.) It’s overall just such a cool and curious concept, and something I haven’t seen a lot. Something about your comic visually is very lovely and different, just makes it such a fresh read!!!!!! Everytime I see a update I get so pumped

That's so sweet!! I'm honored that anyone would be inspired by my lil kitties. It really means a lot <3 To answer your question: I'm not really sure! I was already following a bunch of other clangen blogs + videos on youtube and the idea just sort of popped into my head.

You don't really see dark forest cats painted in a good light, and with Thornshade in particular (slight spoilers ahead) she is a very, VERY old spirit. Old enough that she's long forgotten her own clan and the crime that's kept her out of Starclan. She's not really seeking redemption so much as a purpose to her otherwise empty afterlife.

I'm also glad people have taken to the comic's art style! I went through a few hard rough drafts in my actual style (I'm not very good at drawing cats and they were Not Very Good) before I eventually threw caution to the wind and just did the first comic in MS Paint on a whim.

Anyways, here's a Mama Thorn grooming Goosepaw for you! Thorn thinks she'll make a great med cat someday.

hi! in reference to this post, how did you get the spirit guide to default to the dark forest rather than starclan? thats such a cool lore option especially since I have no idea how cats typically go to the dark forest without player interference otherwise. Thank you! 2

I'm not sure how many people know this, but you can actually send your guide cat to the dark forest in game! It's super easy too. I did it after I finished choosing my cats + setting.

When your guide is a Starclan cat, you should see an option to send them to the dark forest instead like other dead cats! This also means any cats that die will wind up in the dark forest by default.

woah I think I've seen your art on Pinterest before

Ive posted a few of my old main account drawings to pinterest before but i have since deleted them, if you see any art OF THE AU though? Its most probably a repost of which i did not consent to. Or you could be mistaking me for someone else! I don't usually do lineless object art.
